Paper Excellence B.V., has sold German-based Papierfabrik Scheufelen GmbH + Co. KG to a business consortium led by the Schaeff Group located in Schwaebisch Hall, Germany, following a strategic decision to return focus to its pulp activities.
 
Scheufelen is a traditional paper mill operating since 1855 in Lenningen, near Stuttgart. It is a producer of high-quality coated paper and is considered the European market leader for coated premium papers. Last year Scheufelen generated a turnover of € 91 million and had 340 employees.
